Arrivée!

I made it to Paris and met up with my cousin Melanie at the airport. I have just settled in to my room after a nice lunch at their apartment in Chatou (just outside of Paris to the west). I'm doing my best to remember my French but it has definitely been awhile. It helps that she has two young boys so a lot of things are said on a more basic level and repeated a few times. Comprehension is definitely better than recall or speech at this point. Later they will show me around town so that I know where the metro is and the best places to go running. Im getting excited about starting my internship on Tuesday but I'm glad I have a few days to settle in and find my way around. Missing everyone stateside. Ciao! Ps. I know there's a way to post pictures from my phone...it will probably take me a bit to remember this.
