Rainy Sunday

Today was pretty relaxed since the whole family and I had the day off but it was rainy, so we went to my little cousins' grandmother's house just a little bit aways in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, slightly further from Paris, westward. She has the cutest cottage-like house with beautiful gardens. We had lunch: filet with mushrooms and cream sauce and roasted vegetables, followed by cheese and finally dessert was fresh berries with cream and brownie that I brought from my work. I had some wine, the first alcohol I've had, actually, since coming to France. It was red, though, so obviously not much to my liking. Then we relaxed in the living room, listening to the rain and talking or reading. This evening I've been doing planning for my day off tomorrow. Everyone else is at work or school so I have time to explore on my own. Unfortunately I think it will be raining, but I still plan to go out. I think tomorrow I will tour the libraries. A lot of walking is planned for tomorrow so I hope the rain isn't too bad, but I don't mind it. It will be a long post tomorrow since I will be covering quite a bit of ground. Au revoir.
